My name is Austin Beahm and I am a lecturer of geography and a photographer from California. For the past fifteen years, I have traveled, worked, and photographed in Latin America and Asia. Most recently, I have worked on stories about traditional free-divers in Japan and Muay Thai fighters in Thailand. Many of these photos are used for my university teaching. Others have appeared with National Geographic, the World Bank, and the Social Documentary Network.
